Despite the fact that Pancho Villa's is located in an "ideal" location, Pancho Villa's is one of the best places to go for carne asada fries. I have tried several locations, and Pancho Villa's actually remembers to put sour cream, guacamole, and fresh tomatoes into their fries. Other restaurants make theirs in a hurry and you're left with fries smashed in a goo of beef and cheese. Service is also good. I don't know much about who runs the business, but it does seem family owned and that they take care of their restaurant. What's also great about Pancho Villa's is the ambiance. As I said, the location isn't great, but once you step inside the restaurant you feel like you've stepped into a genuine Mexican restaurant. The decorations represent the heritage of Mexico in both an authentic and kitschy manner. The restaurant is clean, which is an important factor, especially if you're wary of going into a restaurant in a less than ideal place.
