When Lahaina was a sea-faring town, and the sailors would come to port, they would head to the Pionner Inn for drinks and eats. For many years, this has been a popular watering-hole. They also have a limited number of hotel rooms that are loved or hated. Many who stay there love the proximity to the water (no beach or pool here.) They love looking out the window at the banyan tree in the park. Others complain that the location is noisey, especially on weekends. This is a place you really should look at before making your reservation.
