Hip, funky, free flowing is what comes to mind when I think of Anthropologie. The styles you will find here is different from others. The clothes make a woman feel beautiful witho...

The store definitely has a lot of cool designs, but there was nothing that screamed out "buy me." They had a nice sweater on sale at the time, but the design was well thought out....

Beautiful, but not quite what I wish 5/27/2006

I love Anthropologie for their retro handmade look. However, if you go in here a lot, after a while all the clothes start to look the same. It's a great store for augmenting a unique wardrobe (if you have the budget for it), but if you own too many pieces from here the source becomes obvious and you cease to look unique. it's so close to what I want it to be and yet so far. more

Funky 5/23/2006

Anthropologie is my answer to shopping at thrift stores. The patterns seem like they stepped out of a vintage shop. I love the old fashioned plates and linens. There are always seems to be some quirky accessory that catches my eye at this shop. At Christmas time this is an excellent place to pick up glass ornaments and the like. The staff is generally friendly (if a bit young). The layout is open and spacious, all in all a fun shopping experience. more

Not on my salary 4/24/2006

I like the styles that the buyers at Anthropologie go for - unfortunately, I find the goods to be a bit pricey. Lucky for me, there are good sales here every once in a while. Anthropologie carries clothing, undergarments, bedding, kitchen items, baby gifts, frames, jewelry -- the whole shebang. Try to convince one of your relatives to give you a gift card for your next birthday so you can indulge in the pleasantly feminine articles. more

Great Store, Though Undeniably Expensive 1/17/2006

If I had more disposable income, you can be sure I'd do a great deal of my clothing shopping at Anthropologie. I absolutely adore their coats and I usually come across a top pr two that literally causes me to gasp. Their clothing selection is vast, unique and of the utmost quality. Though their inventory is expensive unless you're able to catch one of their sales, rest assured whatever you buy will last you years and years. What's also great about this store is it's customer service. When a trench coat I coveted was sold out in the store, I was told to call their 1-800 number. Fifteen minutes later, I had a Kirsten ruffled trench heading for my door step. more

I think Anthropologie has unique styles and the layout of the store is very cool. On the other hand, the items which are not on sale are too expensive. Definitely, go straight for the sale rack.... This is one of the most enjoyable shopping experience one can have, especially those who are visiting New York. There is practically something for everyone (female). The home accessories are quite unique , sometimes not that pricey and the clothes really fun, different and very wearable. Pros: good customer service, great return policy, lots to look at more

fashions are good, too expensive 8/19/2005

The store definitely has a lot of cool designs, but there was nothing that screamed out "buy me." They had a nice sweater on sale at the time, but the design was well thought out. They only seem to sell clothes, and had little to no shoe collection A lot of their stuff was old and vintage as well, if you're looking for that sort of style. I think for the style that they are going for, the items would be a bit more reasonable, but I guess not. The place is worth a look if you're looking for any vintage clothing. more
