Kickboxing classes start with warm ups, high-intensity workouts on punching bag, and cooldowns. The workouts are intense, helping you to burn lots of calories and you learn lots of self-defense moves. They offer several classes a day, but plenty of variety, classes are not repetitive, there are a lot of new and different things. The instructor is sometimes Gordon Jue himself (those are the most intense, he doesn't let you slack off), but mainly his wife. She is very fit and very encouraging. You prepay month-by-month, so if you want to quit, you need to let them know one month ahead of time. No other associated fees. Need to bring your own boxing gloves (or purchase them).
