This is one of the best Jewish delis in the area. It is a great Kosher option in the city but overall this place is as solid of a deli as there is in the DC area. The sandwiches are well made; always with fresh bread and loads of meat. I love everything I’ve ever sampled here. more

Only decent Kosher joint in this city 8/4/2005

With the closing of Stacks last year, the Kosher-keepers and deli meat loves of Washington DC have been in mourning. With the opening of Eli's on 20th and N, we can once again rejoice and eat garlic pickles and potato knishes. There is a wide array of deli sandwhiches and hot meat entrees, as well as soups, salads and starters (go for the chicken tenders). more
