great most of the time 4/4/2006

I tend to go to Kerbey later in the evening, when it's not very crowded and the staff isn't so rushed. Usually, the food is great - I really like the variety the offer and of course the fact that breakfast is alway available. Their seasonal menu is nice and has some original entrees and appetizers. (I had the sweet potato fries the other night - very good). On occasion, especially during busy times, I've run into sketchy service and partially cooked homefries, but most of the time there are no problems. I'll never stop going as long as I live in Austin. more

I love Kerbey Lane 3/28/2006

Their pancakes are absolutely wonderful. I don't know what I would have done in college without Kerbey Lane for all nighters. This is a great place to study, however if it is during finals you have to actively be ordering or they'll kick you out... Their food is great, always fresh and priced very reasonably. Their queso and pancakes are my favorites here. more

Kerbey Lane Cafe 3/28/2006

This establishment is open 24 hours a day making it easy to go too, no matter whether your a morning or an evening person. It has a very pleasant atmosphere.It is close to the UT campus, which makes it wonderful for students attending college there. The staff is friendly and informative. This cafe offers vegetarian dishes ( which are delicious!!) and I really liked the fact that breakfast is offered 24 hours a day. They have the best pancakes I have ever eaten. Prices are very competitive and the food is delicious. I highly recommend you just go and try it,its well worth your time and money. more

If you can find parking.... This is the original Kerbey Lane Cafe. It's an Austin atmosphere (don't bring out of towners that are afraid of body piercings). It's laid back. The food is really good. The veggie tacos are delicious (and I'm not a vegetarian). It's not necessarily fast, so go when you're not pressed for time. more

Breakfast is the best 8/2/2005

I really like to go to Kerbey Lane for breakfast. Their omelets are spectacular. The panacakes are amazing. They are gigantic, so two pancakes can completely fill you up. I do not, however, recommend any non-breakfast food at this restaurant. The non-breaksfast items are not very delicious and are disappointing. The restaurant gets very crowded on Sunday mornings. more
