Cost is lower on some items, higher on others. If you really really want to save some cash, watch coupons and ads as you will get better prices at other retailers. The worst part of costco is customer service....there is none. If you call the optical dept you are on hold for ever and my wife and I tried to load a heavy item and were struggling to get it on the cart. Costco employee walked right by and never even offered to help, even after we pointed out that we could use help. Support your local business's and pay a little more, at least you get customer service and the money stays in the community. more

I like to get all our bulk foods there as well. Saves money in the long run. I also like the fact that they carry a variety of stuff. From electronics to home and garden. more

Costco 4/7/2006

I love Costco. My family and I take a trip there once a month and buy everything that we will need. I love their discount clothing that they have there (they have Carters Rompers for $5!) and there prices on food and other supplies is great. I easily pay for my membership each year with just their great prices on diapers that they have! more

Nobody beat the price of tires I got from Costco 5/21/2005

I called everyone for tires for my Chevy Suburban. Finally I found name brand 10 ply tires, with purchase, installation and mounting they were going to cost me $950 from Sears. I called Costco and got the same tires for $650 dollars and they come with lifetime free rotation and repair. And, the employees were really friendly. more
