I agree about them changing the Nutcracker. They should offer the original classic Nutcracker as well as a show where they put a fresh spin on it. Either way, you really can't go wrong if you go to the Tulsa Ballet. Their performers are very good and scenery they use is really nice. The prices are about $30 to $40 for a good second tier seat. The productions really are very professional and easily rival some of the ballets in bigger cities. Tulsa really has a good cultural scene. more

Tulsa Ballet does some Great Shows 8/1/2005

Tulsa Ballet has some amazing dancers, and the troupe rivals what you'd see in any other big city. Their season is split between classic ballets (Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, etc), and more modern ones. Unless you like all types of dance, I wouldn't recomend the season tickets... usually people like the classic ballets, and find the other ones rather odd. One thing I miss is "The Nutcracker"... they changed it! I wish they'd bring back the old version of The Nutcracker. more
