I paid $250 to Costco to have my LCD TV installed. They were supposed to arrive between 12 and 5 pm today. At 5, they hadn't arrived and I called - was told 8 pm! At 9pm, I called...

"You get what you pay for" 2/19/2009

That is what I was told by the Costco Home manager. When I brought in my dining room set that is falling apart. Thank you, I'll buy at Pottery Barn next time. The whole experience was awful. If you have time to waste and like to be harassed then this is your place. more

"You get what you pay for." 2/19/2009

That is what the manager told me at the Costco Home, after I bought a table set that is falling apart. Then she went on to school me on the return policy, if you buy s car, you wouldn't return it etc. etc. it went on. The whole experience was awful. I would rather pay more than have to mess with returning broken furniture. So if you like to take chances, and have time to waste, I recommend it. Otherwise, do your homework on the pieces you want to buy, and hope there still there if you decide to get it. more

Doesn't Impress 2/6/2008

The furniture is pretty mediocre in both style and quality. A lot of the inventory is discontinued stuff that I guess Costco got on the cheap. Their are some accessories that might be of interest (i.e. pillows etc), but don't expect too much. The staff is pretty much clueless about design or providing info. about a product. The prices are reasonable, but again, the quality is lacking...so it depends on the individual buyer. I don't think Costco Home would make my recommendation list when it comes to buying home decor. more

Love it. 1/10/2007

We got our bedroom set, office furnitures and misc. home decoration stuff from Costco home. They offer good selections, high quality and reasonable prices from our experiences. Like other people said, if you like something there, buy it. Because they may run out of them pretty fast or discontinue them. I also love their decoration stuff, i.e. pillows, flower arrangement and art frames. They always have new stuff coming in for different occasions. Check it out and you may find something you like. more

Great Place if You can Act Fast 3/29/2006

So I went to Costco Home in December and found some furniture that my wife and I loved. Unfortunately, we couldn't purchase the items right away because of house remodeling, and last week we went back to buy the furniture. In typical Costco fashion, the set was gone! The upside of Costco is that they have great stuff at usually great prices, and they constantly have new things. The downside, no continuity and stock. Better get it when you can! more

Great prices, but if you see it, you better get it fast! 3/16/2006

Costco Home has a nice selection of furniture at pretty good prices, but they don't always have complete sets and the stock is constantly changing. Because of this, if you see something you like, you need to get it fairly quickly because there are no guarantees that it will be there when you go back. On the upside of this, they constantly have new things coming in also. The people at the design desk haven't been all that helpful in terms of decorating help, in my experience. Good supply of "knick knack" accessories at a great price. more

If you have the transportation and you want to save money, either go here or go to Ikea and look for sales! more

Look at Costco Home First! 5/13/2005

I love nice furniture but it is hard to find. Costco Home is great for getting some of the items that you would normally spend a small fortune on (e.g. best place to buy a mattress hands down). Then you can shop at boutique furniture stores for your smaller accent pieces. I have also heard that the high end rugs at Costco Home are a great deal! more
