I was a repeat customer of Big's who previously referred people to this store. Something has changed, however. Our most recent purchase, a bed never arrived and no effort has been made to refund us. We placed more than 20 calls to the store, all unanswered. The only way I was able to speak to the manager (Ron Cooper), whom everyone referred us to from Day 1, was to go into the Yonkers store and make a scene until someone finally put him on the phone. He promised he would look into what happened, get back to me and give me a refund. None of that happened.
Upon further investigation I have discovered this is a recent pattern at Big's, even featured on News 7's consumer fraud segment, and that NJ (home of the parent store and warehouse) will not give them a Better Business Bureau accreditation due to the number of complaints (NY BBB is investigating as well).
