Dentists are good, they are the most aggressive front office I have ever worked with in a medical atmosphere, they hound you. Practice is so busy I could not find a place to sit while waiting to be called during a summer visit. more

My family and I have been going to this practice for four years now and recently decided not to go anymore. I'm a busy working Mom who forgot--just once--about a check-up appointment for my son. Although we had never broken appointments before, the receptionist insisted I pay the $50 fee. I didn't even know they had charged such a steep fee--it's not posted anywhere, nor has anyone ever mentioned it to me before. I'm writing about this so no one else will be unexpectedly slammed with this fee. Because they did not waive the fee, nor were they very understanding about this, I'm taking my family to another practice. more

I can't say enough about Dr. G. I have a 12 year old son w/autism who had a history of very bad dental services with "special needs" dental practices. One being Franciscans Hospital. Dr. G. has been exceptional with our situation with her understanding and patience. These feelings are true about the staff also. Dr. G works so well with my son that I actually took him back to Franciscans, which I swore I would never do, because he needed oral surgery. This experience, directed by Dr. G, was far superior to our other experiences there. Andie more

The dentist has a firm and steady approach but my daughter, who is afraid of the dentist, was never able to get anywhere with the dentist. She loved the office, the staff, the setting, the child-friendly atmosphere. But, the dentist talked over my daughter, said things in front of her that scared her, ignored her crying as though it was nothing and ended up making my daughter more fearful. Too bad because it's a nice and friendly office. If your child is shy, has any sensory issues (like gagging with the gloves), is sensitive and takes in more than he/she seems to be, this is not the right dentist. That said, many of our friends LOVE this dentist and her approach has worked. With the younger set (5 and under) she's probably not as good as with older kids who have the dentist thing down a bit more. more

I took my son to Dr. Grazioso for his first dentist appointment. I had no idea how he was going to react and was a bit nervous. Everything went great! They really know how to cater to kids here. The hygenist began by showing my son all of the instruments and explained exactly what she was going to do. She continually explained everything as she went along. My son thought it was cool because they gave him a pair of sunglasses to protect his eyes from the lights while sitting back in the chair! There was a prize jar (of course) which was a big hit. Overall, a very good experience. Also, the waiting room had a decent stock of toys, and I was able to sit ina chair next to him during the whole appointment. more
