Look at Saris' like you would look at vacation...a treat. Expect to pay a little bit more but know that you are getting great candy from a small business. There is something for every price range too...you can grab a candy bar for $1.00 or a pound of chocolate for $10.00. Just go, it's fun! more

Sarris Chocolate 3/26/2006

Growing up not far from the candy shop, I didn't fully appreciate the wonderful chocolate until I moved away. Now, taking a trip home means making a trip to Sarris. They make the best chocolate covered pretzles that I've ever had. The only downfall is that they are getting more and more expensive. A bag of about 10 pretzles now costs $6.95. They also make tons of different moulds to choose from. The chocolate castle is a must see. They used to have a lot of candy novelties and penny candy, but that has been replaced by more expensive treats. more

Fantastic Chocolate and Ice Cream 2/9/2006

A trip to Sarris Candies is a true indulgence. From their absolutely delicious hand-dipped chocolates to their vintage ice cream shop with *fantastic* sundaes, you will leave a happy customer. I'll agree with another reviewer that mentioned watching out for holiday times. You'll often find Sarris Candies in your grocery store, so you might not have to make the trip to Canonsburg after all. more

This truly is the most popular chocolate in the area. We sold it in school as fund raisers and it was always the top seller. During the holidays you will find it in all the stores around. Many people purchase it as gifts during the holidays. It is affordable and tasty! more

Sarris Candies 7/28/2005

The best chocolate in the world! If you visit Canonsburg you must stop in and visit Sarris. Make sure to save room for ice cream as there is a parlor there. The old-fashioned ice cream parlour is complete with period-style, red and brass booths and crystal chandeliers. Each year, thousands of people come from miles around to sample sundaes and other cool treats made with Sarris' homemade ice cream and toppings. Peanut butter meltaways and chocolate meltaways are my favorites! more
