Silverglade and Sons is a great specialty food store on Eight Street in downtown Cincinnati. They have a great butcher shop, the meat is wonderful. They also have a great gourmet bakeshop - try the Tiramisu, outstanding. The collection of gourmet foods is also impressive. They pack a lot into their space. Prices are a little high, but it is gourmet. more

If you are looking for a wonderful place to get extremely fresh food, look no further. Silverglade Specialty foods is the most wonderful butcher in town. The quality of their fresh meat is surpassed by none. Their produce is fresh, their bakery wonderful. And you could not find friendlier help. They are always helpful and full of energy. Not for "regular" groceries, but perfect for meat and produce and gourmet food. more
