Across from the Bromenn Hospital on Main Street is a thrift store that helps raise money for the hospital programs. They sell all sorts of things: crafts, clothes, books, toys, linens, household goods, etc. You can always find something, and for a thrift store, they are very organized. The clothes are segmented out by size and kind, which is very helpful for the larger lady who doesn't have all day to go through every one of the thousands of items at the local goodwill. They have bargain days (like during Valentine's week, all red and white items were 1/2 off), and take donations. Parking can be a problem, and I've often had to drive off and come back later when they weren't so packed. Their hours are also shorter than most of the thrift stores, being open Mon-Fri 10-5, Sat 10-4 and closed Sun.
