This is my current favorite india food places. The food is alsmot like home cooked punjabi fare. I tried their Parathas, almost like my mother's. Their Makki roti (rotia made from corn flour) with Saag is great. I tried a few other things which are good as well. This is very different from the usual creamy buttery sauce laced food you get in most other indian places. This is vegetarian. My only complaint is that their prices are a bit on the high side and prevents me from going there more often. more

East side - Indian Cuisine 7/26/2005

This is a casual joint which features great lunch and dinner entrees and also some indian snacks. They serve only vegetarian food. It is a typical punjabi cuisine. The parathas are awesome. (parathas are indian bread with stuffings - potatoes, cheese, onions, etc). Make sure you reserve on friday evenings as it tends to get pretty crowded as the seating is limited. They have good selection of indian sweets in the store adjacent to the restaurant. more
