When I was growing up, there came a point in my life where I started to broaden out my horizons and start listening to music that wasn’t played on our local rock stations or MTV. My Dad gave me three vinyl albums with which to begin my quest into the world of great music: The Who’s Who’s Next, Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s Brain Salad Surgery and some random Grand Funk album.
For the next several years, I amassed quite a collection of vinyl albums, both from classic rock artists and 7inch singles from punk bands, another genre I had begun to listen to. FBC, when I was able to get to Lansing, was a great place to pick up vinyl records. They have since expanded their business into used cd’s and dvds as well.
