Great Museum 4/8/2006

If you get a chance to get to Ann Arbor, stop by the Ann Arbor hands on museum. Ann Arbor Hands On Museum is one of the best museums in the country. It is absoluetly fabulous for class field trips. Their is a ton of things for the children to do. The parents are also kept very interested. To top it off, the staff is very helpful in planning the trip. The cost is reasonable. I love this museum more

Fun for all ages 10/6/2005

Don’t let the name fool you- this place is fun for adults and children alike. I know plenty of 20-somethings that head here for a first date. They place is filled with typical fun, learning exhibits. You can make it though in half an hour or spend half a day there. But however long you stay, you are guaranteed to have fun! more

Great Environment for the kids, wonderful staff!! A++ 9/9/2005

Each year it seems they are adding a new exhibit, and each year I find that I love the Hands-On-Museum that much more. My favorite thing about the hands on museum isn't the unique hands on approach or its cheap cheap entrance cost...its the staff. Wonderful people take there time to volunteer and explain the exhibits, you can tell they love what there doing and it ensures that your child (or you!) are having a great time. I can't recommend this place enough. Go!! more

A hands on museum 9/4/2005

This one of the intresting museums ive been to. Many great information about how things work. Theres a lot of things to play with. I learned how the traffic lights work. Although its more of a kids museum there are still a lot of interesting things. Also dont forget to check out the gift shop. more

Hands-on Museum 8/19/2005

The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum is an absolutely marvelous museum. It always has a number of educational exhibits that are both interesting and fun for people of all ages. This museum makes a great day-trip, and it is very popular with children that go there on class field trips. I have been going to this museum for many years. more

Fun for everyone! 8/18/2005

Looking for fun for your entire family? Look no further than the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Plan to spend a great time with your family learning about science in a fun, interactive manner. Splash with your kids in the water table in the toddler room. Test your own fitness in an interactive display. Try to balance a ball on a column of air. Learn how magnets work. You even spend time learning about your body's immunization system, kid-style, of course! If you live near the museum, you can purchase a membership which is good at other science museums. more

Fun day for all 8/18/2005

This was a lot of fun for our whole family. I think our little one actually learned something!!! HAHA They have so many fun exhibits and the best part - the kids participate in EVERYTHING!! They have a special place to have birthday parties which the kids would LOVE. Also, the gift shop is big and full of great items. Very affordably priced as well. The only downfall is parking, but in Ann Arbor sparse parking is expected. more

Kids love it. 8/17/2005

This place has a lot of great stuff to check out for kids and adults, too. The prices are 7.50 for adults and 6.00 for children, which isn’t too bad considering it’s offering you a few hours of fun for the kids (and yourself!) My niece used to beg me to take her there and when we finally went, she spent four hours running around playing with all the cool stuff. Definitely a winner for the kids. more

great place for all ages 8/12/2005

I know it's categorized as a children's museum, but i think i have just as much fun there now as i did when i was a child. this museum has a lot of fun stuff for people to do. my favorite: the bubble maker that envelopes a huge soapy bubble around you as you pull the giant hoop out of the soap. it's great for people who learn through tactile contact or kinetic movement. it also makes a fun, relaxed date place too! more

Adults and kids alike... 8/3/2005

Sure, tell yourself you’re going there only because you’re bringing your kid. Not because you love it or anything! Whatever helps you sleep at night. You have to admit that this museum is the coolest place to hang out on a summer day. They have tons of great stuff, and their optical illusions exhibit was an entire floor full of great stuff to peruse. more

Museum Intended for Kids, but Appreciated by Adults 7/26/2005

The hands-on museum is geared for kids, but I actually think that adults appreciate it more. This museum teaches science in a hands-on manner, which any age should appreciate. I suggest taking your kids there, but you might end up enjoying it more than them! It's not cheap though: $7.50 for adults, $6 for children more
