Good selection of stuff, friendly staff 8/17/2009

The Boulder Army Store has been a fixture in town for quite awhile. They carry a good selection of clothing and equipment for the outdoors, and usually have competitive prices. They carry some stuff that you can't find in the big chain stores, and the staff has been pretty helpful when I have asked questions about various items. I keep going back, sometimes just for the funky atmosphere. more

Nice Products 1/5/2009

The Boulder Army Store has a pretty decent collection of outdoor gear-- clothing, footwear, tents, etc. I think some of the prices can be a touch high, but they sometimes have good sales. I found the staff to be helpful, although at times it can be a little crowded at the store, making it a bit more difficult to get help. more

Dirty old bargain bins that aren't a bargain. The worst selection of women's clothes anywhere outside of Saver's. No parking. Prefer Salvation Army Store. PROS: location good for browsing CONS: nuthin' worth buying more

I always feel like I'm about to embark on a journey when I walk into the Boulder Army Store. You could say they have their ambiance down. The one drawback might be the dizzying number of options for the one item you're shopping for. My tactic: take an hour to explore. Come back in a few days after the dust settles to make your selection. more

Camping 4/28/2005

The Boulder Army Store has a great selection of all types of goodies but an exceptional value on tents. They carry a lot of larger tents as well for family camping trips. more
