Worst customer service, do not rent from here! 1/16/2010

We rented our car at 1AM on a Friday. The employee explained that they go by calendar days, and not in 24 hour periods. We were going to return the car the next day, but decided since they went by calendar days, we might as well rent it longer and return in Sunday afternoon. She said we would only get charged for 2 days - Friday and Saturday as long as we returned it by Sunday afternoon. We thought this sounded too good to be true... and it was. When we returned vehicle, we were charged for 3 days and a late return fee, making our bill over $100 more than what we agreed to. Two employees were extremely rude, and then came out the manager. It took her 25 minutes to even come out from her ""important meeting"" at 5pm on a Sunday evening. The manager acted as though she got her training in customer service from a cracker jack box. She was very rude, even saying to one of us with extreme attitude ""Your name is not on the contract, I do not even have to talk to you."" They insisted that they couldn't give us the deal the original retarded employee offered us because they ""don't know her side of the story."" Save the hassle, and rent from an agency that has some skills in customer service. We also learned they charge you an ""early return fee"" and a ""late fee"". So make sure you take the vehicle back at the EXACT time you say you will! Cons: unintelligent employees, breach of contract more

Bad Policy and Poor Signage Leads to Rude Service 7/18/2007

I was dropping my good friend off at the airport and her flight was delayed so we decided to grab a bite to eat in the terminal. So, we spotted the tables overlooking the fountains and decided that would be a nice place to hang out while waiting. It apparently belonged to Pour la France, and we were hungry, so we got in line and purchased a piece of cake, some coffee and bottled water -- $13 worth. But, hey, it's the airport, so that's to be expected. (We would have purchased more if anything else looked good - we were hungry). So, we took our food over and sat down at a table. I'm guessing there are approximately 20 tables, maybe more, and only three, including the one we were sitting at, were occupied. Several minutes after taking our seat, an employee of Pour la France came over and said, ""You're not allowed to sit here - this is for customers only."" We were confused. I explained that we were customers and we had just purchased our food from Pour la France. She said, no, this is for dining room customers only and was overly-agitated given the situation, but looking back, I'm sure she spends most of her day chasing people out of the dining room since there was very poor signage to explain that you could have a seat and be waited on. I looked around at all of the empty tables, and it certainly seemed to me that since we WERE PAYING CUSTOMERS, it wouldn't hurt to let us sit and eat our Pour la France cake and drink our Pour la France coffee. I pointed this out, but she was getting embarrasingly loud and rude, and so we gathered up our stuff and left. They did have dirty, uneven tables set up on the interior of the walkway for the second- class ""Express"" customers such as ourselves, where we finished our frozen cake and lukewarm coffee. My friend remarked that if the waitress had taken the time to hand us a menu instead of being so intent on running us off, we probably would have ordered dinner. I said, ""You know, you're right!"" Too bad. Pros: Dining room has a nice view when you're stuck at the airport Cons: Unclear that the dining room is full service more

Don't visit during a football game! 1/15/2006

Ate here on a Sunday afternoon during a NFL playoff game. Service was atrocious. We waited 15 minutes before we were served, and our waitress Crissy immediately ran to watch the game before bringing us WATER. I ordered one thing off the menu--a cup of soup--and I had to repeat it to her two minutes later. I later hear another waitress within earshot state, ""They can order soup off the express menu..."" Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you're stuck at DIA. Pros: Food Cons: Service more
