Say Konnichiwa to Japan Society if you have yet to acquaint yourself. Without a permanent collection on display, the gallery on the second floor is a revolving door of new and exciting exhibitions on Japanese art and culture. After you visit the gallery, make like the Japanese and zen out in the indoor garden and reflecting pool. more

Deserves more visitors 10/31/2002

We got in for $3 student passes and it was well worth it. We spent a little less than an hour there. The exhibit was Kazari and there was a lot of different artifacts from as far back as the 14th century. Clothing, books, scrolls, hairpins, all sorts of stuff. The lobby with the waterfall is beautiful. But there was only one other person there! More people need to hear about this place. Pros: Exhibit, ambience, the waterfall Cons: Small galleries more
