...you have to sometimes contend with the idiocy of the artsy-fartsy Westsiders. I once sat down and someone asked me to move out of their line of sight when there were plenty of places to sit!
Still, if you like eclectic film programming, you'll probably see a movie here sooner or later if you live in L.A. This theater is no great shakes, but if you sit close enough, the screen is more than ample -- certainly not a postage stamp-sized screen unlike the typical art house theater. Not sure if sound system is Dolby Digital/Surround capable but the staff plays films at a loud enough volume.
Also like it's brethren the Nu-Art down the street, there is no assigned parking lot nearby, so you must fend for parking on side streets or Santa Monica Blvd, so heed the parking signs -- otherwise you'll end up with a parking ticket!
Pros: eclectic films
Cons: pretentious crowd, street parking only
