Ral's Fine Catering

Great first impression of Mr. Ral!! Within two days of initial contact he provided my fianc? & I a detailed proposal and even met with us for our first consultation. I assumed that picking a caterer would be a difficult task being that my guests are an international bunch (Louisiana Creole/Nigerian/Trini). Too my surprise NO problem for Mr. Ral!! Extensive menu & great prices will allow us to have a multicultural reception that won't send us over our budget. Booked today!! Will post update after tasting.. more

love love the food............my guests were so impressed. in fact my bridesmaid took Ralsfine catering info to book her upcoming wedding............the service was awesome . the presentation of the food was the best i had ever seen..........very creative and artistic. Rals definitely knows what he is doing and will use him for my parent in laws' anniversary..........u need to book far ahead of time because they seem fully booked all year round more

Beware! This is a horrible catering company. The owner, Ral, is incredibily unprofessional and rude. I had to call him multiple times in order to get things taken care o, for example I contacted him at least 5 times to get a copy of his insurance which was required for my wedding locationf. He would say he'd call me back and then would not. Worst of all..te food served at my wedding was COLD! He also forgot the martini glasses and had to rush out to bring them which caused unneccessary stress. I called him after my wedding to complain about the cold food he yelled at me and hung up the phone in my face. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Trust me you would be better off paying a little bit more to get better service. Check out the Houston business website. It shows that Ral's has filed for bankruptcy and has unresolved complaints from other customers. Save yourself the headache and use another company. Cons: Cold food. I'm using Ral's for wedding and everything has been wonderful!! I know several people that have used them before and everyone raves about their food. All of the food that I have sampled has been amazingly delicious. In fact, they have a special tea that is the best tea I've ever tasted. The service is awesome as well. Not only are they taking care of my food, but they are brining in the linens and even the chairs (I did not like the chairs my venue provides). If you are looking for food to remember for your event, I highly suggest you call Ral's! Pros: Pricing, Food Taste more

I used them for my wedding a few years ago and everything went great. Definitely not the case for the second go around...I just recently hired them again for a shower I hosted and was extremely disappointed. They arrived 2 HOURS late plus they did not bring any silverware. When booking them, I paid extra for both of these things just to make sure the shower would look nice and go smooth. Ral knew he messed up, but instead of trying to make it up to the customer, he acted like he did nothing wrong. After the event, I had to call the caterer everyday for 3 weeks before getting any follow-up. I was finally reimbursed a small percentage of the money, but it was like pulling teeth to get a single dollar back from these guys. Extremely unprofessional. Food wasn't all that great either.
