I've always wondered why Durango's has been open for so long. It's a small restaraunt hidden in the back corner of an old shopping center with half of the stores closed, so it's hard to spot. After years, I went to Durango's for lunch. I'm still wondering how they've managed to stay open. Upon arriving in the restaurant I was not greeted, so I was confused. I eventually just seated myself. The menu was reasonably priced, nothing over $8 for lunch. The food was brought out in less than 10 minutes and was hot. The taste was VERY average, but filling. The main problem for me was the service. From the time I walked into the restaurant to the second I left, I never felt welcome at all. So, because the food is so average you are better off going somewhere with the same food but better service and atmosphere.
Pros: good parking, inexpensive
Cons: bad service, no ambiance, average food
