University of the Streets host one of the best Jazz Jam Sessions in New York City. Many of the top Jazz Artist always come out to jam headed by the great George Braith on Saxophone. Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 10pm and running in th the wee hours of the morning. You can just come and listen.\r
Bring your axe (instrument) and sit-in the Jam. Over the years all from ""trane"", ""Art"", ""Miles"", Lovelace"", Sigler ansd many others dropped in. University of the Streets started in 1962 and is still going strong today.
