Ugly Mug Pub & Grill

Wow, after continuous complaints they are still smoking in this place. Their disregard to all customer types is insulting. They even have an amazing patio and with the nice weather you would think that is the place to light up. NOPE! They do it right at the bar and it is a big middle finger to the the law and the customers who don't smoke. I run 2 yearly events where I work with local bars to get groups together and show support by booking their place. This one is definately off of my list more

I live in the Milwaukee area and frequent this place often. Its primarily a corner neighborhood bar but the food is excellent. The three dishes that I usually order are the Philly Cheese steak sandwich, BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, and the Carolyn's signature burger with sour cream and chive fries. My favorite dish they have is their Caribbean Jeark Steak Burrito But this one is not on the menu yet and I have only seen it as a special. The owner told me that he plans on putting it on the menu soon so if you do check this place out look for it. You wont be disappointed. One thing to keep in mind is that since this is mainly a bar they don't always have a server working so if you do come for food and the bartender is busy be prepared to order your food at the bar. Aside from the food its a great place to hang out and catch a couple drinks too. The clientele is a great mix of younger and older people. Ive never had any problems with anyone at this place; everyone is very respectful. Pros: Best Burgers in Town Cons: A little smokey, but what do you expect its a bar. more
