Happy with the care 3/9/2012

I have nothing but good things to say about PSAL. My son has been with the company since the very beginning 21 years ago. During this time, I had 2 complaints which I aired- which were personnel issues- 1 lead nurse and 1 caregiver. He has been well cared for and all his needs met. The fact that he is mentally well,verbal and social I'm sure and able to communicate his needs is helpful. His home with his roommate and staff is a tightknit FAMILY. Kudos to this company. With a organization there are always problems and complaints. The caregiver issue was probably 10 years ago. KUDO's to Charley more

Very scary place to be a patient or a nurse. Caregivers have little to no training. Nurses are hired straight out of school and have very little supervision. Medication errors are frequent and go unchecked. Patients are frequently left unsupervised while caregivers sleep or watch television. Pros: cheap place to live Cons: care is very substandard more

specialized, individualized and wonderful 12/21/2006

A unique facility, set in an apartment complex. Clients each have their own bedroom and live in their own home. They have 24 hour nursing on site and a caregiver in each unit. Each client has specialized needs and is lovingly cared for by a truly unique group of people. The facility provides their own transportation vehicles and outings are frequent. more
