Narrows Plaza Bowl

My friends and I went to narrows last weekend for glow bowling and it was great! Had a few beers DJ didn't play enough country but overall it was a great time for all. We will definitely be going back soon. more

$35 an hour, including shoes, for a group of 5 to bowl on a Saturday night. Where else can you get fun entertainment for kids & adults? It's cheaper than going to a movie and the kids loved the lights and music. more

Saturday I drove from Lacey to Narrows Plaza Bowl with 6 kids in tow to Narrows Plaza Bowl. I checked the website and they offered bowling for 4.95 per hour for adults and 3.95 per hour for kids shoes included. I arrived and checked in. The person at the front desk informed me that a tournament had just let out and the prices had changed to 4.95 per game for adults and 3.95 per game for under 18. Plus 3.00 per shoe rental. The place was approximately 25 percent full/ or 75 percent empty for those negative folks. I asked the attendant that I had just read on the website about the prices offered and if there was a less expensive way to for everyone to bowl. He said no and that the price was 4.95 per game for adults and 3.95 for kids. Im not one to complain but overall the experience was not good and we left. We went to Pacific lanes for half the price and had a great time. The staff was friendly and the prices more in line. If you dont mind overpaying and mis-advertising then come here, because it does look like a nice place. If you want a more welcoming place go somewhere else. (note to management) If a group of 8 comes wanting to pay fair money I would take 10 percent profit on 80 bucks rather than no profit on zero. So maybe give your front man the option to barter and get customers that are willing to walk? Just a idea more

From the management to the staff to the facility I had the worst experience of my life. The management and staff were extremely rude; I was even accosted by one employee; there were continuous issues with the equipment and the bowling was over priced. I will never be back again! I recommend Secoma Lanes if you are looking for bowling in Tacoma. more

The Narrows has a great arcade with plenty to do for the big kids as well as the lil' guys, affordable deli style food, plenty of lanes, and a lounge with a couple pool tables as well. If you wanted to dip off for a quick cocktail you will really enjoy the feel of this spacious lounge. is has a vaulted log cabin feel inside and plenty of quiet seating to be alone with that significant other. Enjoy all this place has to offer. Pros: great family fun, spacious lounge onsight. Cons: food menu could be better, but it was afforable. more
