My daughter started at Whizz Kids when she was only 13 months old. Admittedly, we chose WKs because it was the only facility close to us, and with an opening. I was a little concerned the building looked old and funky. Turns out, a father of a former student is an expert in retrofitting for earthquakes and gave the buildings his seal of approval. Awesome.
Looking back I feel strongly that signing up my daughter for Whizz Kids was one of the very best decisions of my life. My daughter will be starting kindergarten in Sept. and she is well prepared for success, confident, and well socialized.
Janet hires the very best, and all of our daughter's teachers have been loving, encouraging and organized. There isn't much turn over and it is apparent the staffers feel well treated. There is a high level of respect among the staff, which is diverse. All are well educated and thoughtful about their teaching methods. I believe the kids are so busy having fun, exploring and socializing that they don't realize they are learning too. There are always new projects, walk abouts, and the playground is awesome.
Even more, there is a great sense of community at WKs. The annual picnic is wonderful, and former teachers and students often attend. Over the years, our family has become good friends with a few others. Once families come, they tend to stay and so there is a very stable, supportive vibe there. Really, these teachers are amazing. I feel extremely blessed my daughter has had them in her life. I could not be happier with our experience at Whizz Kids.
