Lured in by the enticing smells wafting from this cafeteria-style spot, I stumbled upon one of my favorite cheap eats. Get a #2 with 2 orders of Funny Spicy Chicken to share with a friend: sweet, sour, spicy, and best of all, *not* deep-fried for $6, how can you go wrong? Granted it would be better for you if it used white meat (instead of boneless thigh), but beggars cant be choosers; its rare to find a sweet & sour dish this good. And the icing on the cake? Free, pour-it-yourself Jasmine Tea.
I cant really recommend much else from MD, mostly because I have tunnel vision for myFunnySpicyChicken, but at $4-6 for a filling meal, you wont lose much by trying them out. Plus, itll probably be healthier and tastier than what youd eat next-door at Costco (MD is in the mini-strip mall next to this wholesale behemoth). Yum!
Pros: Inexpensive, Value, Funny Spicy Chicken
Cons: Cafeteria ambiance
