I got an unexpected bill for a full surgery, called the doctor's office in a panic. They forwarded me over to thier billing company. I figured, great, as if they are going to care. Amazingly, they listened and worked with my insurance company which had denied the claim as the services were not covered. After a month, i got a call back telling us that the appeal had been denied but they were going to work on it further. Two more appeals later, we got a call telling us the bill was taken care of.
