I was in last week for a massage and pedicure, and I was not very impressed with the quality of service. I think the people who work there are making a good effort, however they don?t seem to be headed in the right direction. I was very turned off to see a stainless steel mixing bowl used for my foot soak versus a tub better suited for the shape of feet. The masseuse seamed inexperienced and did not have an even relaxing rhythm, radically changing from one style to another, and not maintaining contact. I was surprised to have my hands dipped in paraffin during my massage session, if I wanted a manicure I would have asked for it. Overall I think Impressions has the potential to be what I would call a spa, however they need to do a little research on providing their employees with proper tools as well as possibly a little refresher course on massage practices, or stick to being as salon.
Pros: Friendly employees, clean and tasteful decore
Cons: Loud and chaotic, not a relaxing atmosphere for a massage
