At the end of a 3-week stay, I discovered that my dockage agreement had been annotated--after I signed it--to include an unspecified ""Harborfest"" charge. I asked, and was told this came to $3 per foot. Two days later, when I paid my bill, I discovered that the charge was $3 per foot PER DAY. I ended up paying about twice as much as I expected, nearly a thousand dollars to dock my 44-ft sailboat for 3 weeks. You would be better off anchoring in the large sheltered bay directly outside this marina, where space is always available.
