Salon Vivace will certainly charge you salon prices, but the quality was not delivered on my visit. I went for hair color and cut. The cut was fine and the conversation of the stylist was enjoyable, however the color came out very wrong. My roots (the whole reason I made the appointment) came out orange while the rest of the color below was a much more platinum blonde color. Initially, I didn't notice the line of demarcation. However as soon as I got home & examined the color(s) in my own, well-lit, bathroom it was obvious there was a problem. For the $150 I paid, I feel I was no better off than had I bought box color and done it myself! I did return the next day to salon vivace, where no stylists were working on a sunday & the receptionist was eating chinese take out at the front desk. The receptionist, who must not have realized she was the "face" of entire salon that day (unfortunately a very unprofessional one), did not offer an apology and acted very noncommittal about problem I considered very obvious, not to mention pricey! When I did get to talk to the stylist a few days later, she also did not offer an apology, just offered to add a few more highlights if that "is what I thought I wanted". Again, I felt this was extremely unprofessional. My appointment for these highlights was cancelled by the salon due to weather and when I called to reschedule I inquired about price. I was then told I would still be paying the same $150 as before to FIX this color! I urge you NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT SALON VIVACE! We are a military family and I do have to change stylists every time we relocate, hence the importance of getting it right the first time. In all my 15 years of paying for salon color have I had such terrible results!
