Southern Pest Control

I checked out about 6-7 companies. I had quite of few bugs coming in as did my neighbors, I feel they were definetly the best deal. We all ended up going with them. I have to say I have been very happy with them, they came in and looked all around; they were thorough, nice, explained everything and have been very pleased so far. I know I agree with my neighbors as we would all give 5 stars because 1) best deal of my comparisons 2) we each have no bugs 3) we all feel they were very personable/profrsnl/the office staff explained everything before they guy came out (very very nice) 4) I love they come after I get off work at literally the exact time I requested (that's huge for me)...So, so far so good, I know we have all been more than pleased. I will no doubt use them again. more

They honestly have the best team in place! Every person I have had contact with since day one has exceeded my expectations. Southern serviced my home in Smoketree (and saved me huge$$$ thank you!!) but the last guy, Rick that came to my new home(new to me) on Old Gun was awesome! He may remember I was going through alot of renovations after we bought it, sellers never disclosed rats/mice, roaches and ants+ but the rep hooked me up on a great deal...really great deal. Rick came out & took care of everything. I just wish all of all the other service guys/contractors etc. had the same business practices. always show up on time and he took care of everything in one visit. I even went as far as calling upper management to recommend they get a raise! more

I called to schedule my yearly service and was 4 days late (date was not included on the letter I received)...they would not honor my 2 year contract without my resigning another contract for a year. more

I signed a one year contract with Southern Pest control for my home of one year. At the time of the contract, we didn't really have any issues with pests, since the house was literrally brand new. The person came and inspected the house, but seemed inexperience and did NOT do a thorough inspection. Honestly, I don;t even know what he inspected, it was like a 5 minute inspection. Since i have a one year old, he didnt do any spraying inside the house, but set sticky traps in the garage and grainlike seeds surrounding my house. A few months down the road, my little toddler likes to throw food on the floor, but I try to clean and pick them up immediately, but the ants kept coming. So we called them and again, they did the same thing. The ants never did go away and my contract expired. It just seems that i wasted about $400 on using them 3 times and each time, it was ineffective. Pros: On time; more

I hope you have a lot of time. Two weeks with rodents running around my house seems a bit ridiculous. Maybe its because the recent change in the weather is creating a lot of work for them. more
