Our tech has been really nice and works hard (at this point I would have rated them with 4/5 stars), but the issue I have with them is their inability or willingness of returning calls or updating me on parts, or worse telling me they are coming over and never show up. I’ve been without a working ice maker for two months. One tech tells me that parts are in weeks ago and another tech tells me (well doesn’t tell me, tells Lowes) that parts are not in. I work 12 hour mid-shifts and when they tell me that they are coming over or are going to call back, I have to leave my phone on and take my earplugs off which means I loose hours of sleep during that time, as it is I only get about 6 hours of sleep on a good day. Been waiting two weeks for a call back. I contacted Lowes and requested another company. At that point Lowes contacted Ameritech and they promised they would call me back that same day, another day of sleep I lost waiting, and no call. When I was young I used to be a tech and I never treated my customers like that. I know how hard these guys work so I have been giving them many opportunities to fix the issue but seems they don’t really care, I hope I’m wrong but faith is running out.
