I and my sweet heart were about to have a fantastic Friday night dinner. We were passing by the Bangkok Cuisine (present Thai Passion) and decided to go in to try it -why not? The place looked nice-elegant, white starched table cloth, but.... there were very few people. This was the first sign of bad luck which was about to arrive. The waitress was very indifferent and uninterested in being friendly with us. The firepot of soup we ordered was nothing more than lemongrass flavored thin water with lots of uncooked coarsely chopped onions and tough pieces of white chicken flesh. We ordered the entree consisting of grilled beef, tons of uncooked coarsely chopped onions and lettuce. Where in the world did one see grilled beef which was very tough and looked very pale like a corps-NO COLOR!!!! It tasted terrible!! Asian cuisine is famous for its bright attractive colors and flavorful spicy taste- forget about this in Thai Passion-you will not find it there... On top of it, both of us had upset stomach and spoiled evening afterwards. One must look for real great quality Thai food elsewhere, perhaps Houston or New York...
