Out of Business 7/9/2008

Sold the property and will not be relocating. Gun shop is closed. Shame, I liked Jim. Got my CHL and other goodies from him. Wanted to renew on the CHL when I found this out by calling the number. Good Luck, Jim more

No gimmicks, a straight shooter 9/18/2007

I discovered this place by word of mouth. Located in an awkard manner, it is basically a shack with guns and "stuff". There is nothing fancy about the joint. If you want fair priced guns and ammo with no run around, this is it. I got my handgun and CHL license there and I have no regrets. I am a very tough customer for the most part, and I have very little to say negatively about the value or service of this particular establishment. I recommend it strongly. The only other place that could beat his prices on some new guns would be a gunshow I suppose. Pros: value, service, no upsell, honest Cons: the store will not win a beauty constest more

No BS, No rude pushy saleman.. 4/30/2007

I've been going to Cost Plus 10 Gun Shop for a few years now. Definitely a place you wouldn't expect a deal on Firearms. Its small, cramped, and poorly lit, but who cares?...They sell guns... not jewelry.. Great deals, great service. Its a sure bet he'll beat any deal , even show prices. So, if you need a new carry gun or just want to add one to your collection, or even just to grab some ammo, the place is definitely a bargain spot. more

Value cannot be beat 2/21/2007

I've been going here for a year now for all my ammo, reloading, and gun needs. I've attained my CHL license through the proprietor Jim Kent. I enjoy the fun characters who sit outside and just shoot the breeze on a regular basis. There are great deals to be had on the consignment guns too (i've bought 6-7 guns from jim in the last year alone). Jim is always willing to call someone or ask someone if he doesn't know the information. His affable nature is very encouraging and fun to deal around. As an asian minority, I probably stick out at his store, but no one cares about that which is great. Just a bunch of great guys, who enjoy shooting and having the right to RESPONSIBLY bear arms. For those that are used to pretty stores and well lit/serviced aisles, you'll be in for a rude awakening and shock. It's a small shack of a store, and he operates an alarm business out of there also. He has pretty much any ammo you might need, reloading supplies, some really old stuff on the shelves occassionally, and limited selection of guns, but he can order anything practically and you'll get the standard 10% markup which is great. CHL classes in the small place was a challenge but it was worth it. I highly recommend folks to just drop by and talk to jim and see the prices. You may find lower somewhere else, but 90% of the time, jim has the lowest price at spot market. Pros: great prices over spot market ammo. good advice. Cons: strange location, and not the typical retail store 'appearance' more
