It amazes me that Family Physicians Healthcare has any returning patients. The disregard for a patient's need is evident. A simple request is dealt with total apathy. A patient must wait to get something as simple as a call back and they do not care a smidgen about the importance of the patient's situation. With all the competition, I can't believe that they are so discourteous to the point of just hanging up on a patient if the patient pushes them for a better response or to speak with a supervisor. I will say the doctors are very good, my son drove 80 miles just for a second appointment, but he could not be seen. He needed a refill, didn't want anything for free, was willing to pay for another appointment. All he needs is a refill. Even the HEB in Marble Falls sent a second fax request and we are still waiting for a reponse. I sat by my phone all day, I was told to call after 4 PM and I received the same response as I did earlier, that they had all the information but it would be at least 24 to 48 hours at the earliest before I would get a response. I will try again tomorrow and I expect the same response that I received today; hopefully, I am wrong. My patience is running out quickly.
