Ladies Do Not Use This Cleaners 6/9/2010

Dropped off a bunch of cleaning with the majority being my Husband's. I had 3 items, the newest, cutest item was ""lost"". Beware and be sure you get a receipt Ladies for your items because if you don't they don't care. Pros: Return Men's Shirts Cons: Women's clothes more

At least u didnt work there! 5/4/2009

Sal hired me to work the front counter about 6 yrs ago. The pay was supposed to be 9/hr. I show up on my first day at 8am, and he started trying to train me. He wanted me to learn it all right then, but didnt want to let me do any hands on work. At 10 he sent me to sweep and mop the floors(NOT MY JOB).At 11, he told me to start taking in and sorting garments. When i made a few mistakes (because of crappy training), he FIRED me on the spot, and paid me $10 out of his wallet He told me he didnt have time to explain things to ""dumb white girls."" He is not only a bad businessman, he is a pig with no regard for american culture, labor laws, or for women. Anyone who takes their business to this location,is directly funding everything that this great country does NOT stand for. Pros: r u kidding? Cons: they exist more

After reading the other reviews of Tip Top Cleaners, I just couldn't believe! They may be a little more than other dry cleaners, but you get what you pay for! Worst dry cleaners I have ever used! 5/10/2007

All I have to say is 11 items = $70 (and most of those were just shirts being laundered!) Biggest rip-off ever! more

Ripped off - Don't use this cleaner 2/22/2007

I was also ripped off by this cleaner. I dropped off four items and received a $50 bill. They charged $8.5 to hem the bottom of one leg on a pair of pants, then charged $9 just to clean (not dry clean) and an extra $1.5 because they were rayon - which they were not. They also charged $8.50 for one skirt, and then extra because it was rayon and had two pleats. I asked why four items cost $50 and was told ""cleaning is expensive"". there is a seamstress in the mall that charges $2.00 to hem skirts and pants (both legs) and Rick's cleaners does not charge extra for EVERY THING. I would not recommend this cleaners to anyone! Cons: TOO EXPENSIVE/RUDE more

Disgusted by Non-Existent Customer Service 1/9/2007

After being a long time customer, and referring everybody who asked for a local dry cleaner, Tip Top cleaners has disgusted me. I will never go back, or recommend it to anybody ever again. I called Tip Top Cleaners on N. Lamar to ask them a question about an item on my invoice that I had just picked up, and was yelled at by a man named Sal. He told me that we weren't ""negotiating a multi-million dollar real estate contract"" and that he ""didn't have the time to discuss three garments for ten minutes"". I reminded him that I was a long time customer, and that I was simply asking a question, and he told me to ""pack up and take my business elsewhere"". That's exactly what I'll be doing. It isn't right for anybody to treat a loyal customer, or even a first time customer, the way I was treated. I'll be going to Ace Cleaners from now on and I encourage the rest of you to do the same. more

rip off 9/27/2005

I was charged over $30 to dry clean 4 shirts. It cost over $3 just to launder a shirt. I just moved to town, dropped off 9 shirts, and received over a $50 bill. They itemized it for me, and it still didn't add up. I didn't see this coming. Back in Houston laundering the same shirs would NEVER cost more than $25. Don't go here unless you want to throw away money. Oh, btw, it took four days for them to finish. more
