Whole Foods Market

I bought a chicken and wanted it to be cut. The meat guy want ""one cut one dollar"" and that was one slice per dollar. He was serious though. I took my whole chicken to front trying to complain to a manager. A guy took the chicken back and the meat guy still refused to cut and started to taunt and yell at me with temper. Another guy got my chicken cut. The manager called me back after I tried to call him. Manager said ""Sorry for your bad experience, but get chicken cut does increase our labor cost."", and later ""You should have asked for manager."" Now you see why those bad employees are so encouraged to screw up any customer with ""extra labor cost"". I was very, very mad. Senseless and pathetic management! Be ready to answer ""One dollar one cut"" and a smear, barbarian butcher. more

I like the store chain for their better-than-rest-of-the-market freshness of seafood specially salmon and shrimps. more

They answer their phones, and my questions were thoroughly discussed. Customer service throughout the store was great, but it exceptionally shone at the cash register. They had everything I needed and more at very reasonable rates (way cheaper than Hawaii's Whole Foods), and I loved the big huge red roses they sold at the front of the store. All in all, easy to find, fun to shop in, excellent food to buy. Bunch of organic kale for only $2! Beat that!? I would buy about 5 things in Hawaii for $80 at my Whole Foods, but here I bought over 20 and it came to under that amount. Also, TX has no tax on produce and food, so gives you extra incentive to spend the dollars on organic and local! more

I enjoyed this store. The staff was friendly and had a lot of input on many of the products they sold. I always enjoyed going in because everyone there always looked so healthly, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for the latest in health food. You can't go wrong here! more
