Premiere Video

After being faithful customers for over 15 years (and paying lots of late fees along the way), my family and I no longer go there. The owners are nice enough, if rather detached, but the staff is very, very rude. During my last experience there, the tall blond salesgirl castigated me for not returning a DVD (which the owner's wife then located on the shelf where it belonged). She was extremely rude to me in front of other customers, and told me (after being a customer so long!) that it was my fault that her records were wrong because when a film is late, I should bring it in and not put it in the drop box. I never knew about that rule, and thought the entire incident was embarassing and unnecessary. Clearly my loyalty for all those years was misplaced, so they no longer have it. more

I've been renting at Premiere for almost 11 years and since I've always been a kind human being to them they've always treated thusly. However if you're a total loser bitch you're gonna get treated like one. They're not a failing corporation. That's right Christine L., I found your other insane review where you call the pregnant store clerk a ""fat ass"". This time you spelled things more correctly, good thing Citysearch has automatic SPELL CHECK. You are the deplorable human being. You really think any of us are going to believe that the first thing a stranger did was scream at you while they were working? If this is what you imagined you need to seek professional help because you're insane. What is char-coled by the way? And if you've lived in the area for 20 years it sounds like you were just starting to rent at Premiere since you can't tell the difference between it and blockbuster since you tried to check out display boxes. You were obviously a loyal blockbuster customer before THEY ALL CLOSED and thought you could take your shiit to Premiere. I'm glad you were banned, I'll never have to run into your bitch-ass. At first I thought I was having one of those freaky moments in life that are just better left unexplained but the moment didn't stop.I was in the process of checking out my movies at Premiere and a very pregnant Sarah yell's in such a loud enraged voice ""YOU BROUGHT THE MOVIE COVER!!!!!! At first I was like "" does it explode now-what?! "" YOU DONT BRING UP THE MOVIE COVER!!!!"" I didn't know wither I should call 911 for an ambulance because maybe she was in labor,pain,something or the police because I truly thought this pathetic little creature I saw in front on me was going to leap ala Charles Manson style on to the counter then come crashing down on me and begin to beat me until her violent thirst was satisfied. I then said the worst thing a patron that was about to spend 12 on rental fee's could of said ""Why are you being so mean to me""?! and can you believe this thing had the nerve to respond "" BECAUSE YOUR STUPID!!!"" Well I had to agree with the rolly polly,I was stupid.For allowing this arrogant,char-coled heart,uncouth,poorly kept,hateful little creature yell and scream at ""me"" the patron about to spend money and I'm being yelled at for what?!Doesn't it go the other way around?! When I asked to complain to the manager she told me that SHE was the manager!! Then I asked to speak to her superior and she said he would be in later that evening.When I returned to speak to the owner he wasn't much nicer.So feeling the need to be heard I started with the BBB and along the road I have found so far at least three webb site's/ blog's whatever they the term for ""To bitch about"" is that are solely committed to how hateful and rude the employee's and owner of Premiere Video are!! Amazing right?! Whats worse is that these people that work in MY neighborhood where I have owned a home for 20 pls yrs can be so ungrateful that their little store is surviving.They clearly have not experienced loss or they would not take such simple things like customers for granted.I would rather my money goes to the livelihood of things and people that have a great regard for something so simple as kindness. more

For ten years, I have been a member of this store. I have observed their less than courteous treatment of others, but only yesterday was I subjected to Sarah's rudeness. Where did so many of their employees get their customer relations training...Saddam Hussein's School of Business? If an old movie pops in my head - I don't need to search all over town - I can go over on Mockingbird a couple of blocks east of Central - to Premier Video and know they will have it. If you don't see it on their EXTENSIVE shelves just ask them - they apparently have Archives in the back that house the less asked for titles. I enjoy taking some of my more knowledgeable friends there as a challenge and so far they have not let me down. I highly recommend them. For a business that should be glad to be able to barely keep its doors open in a time where netflix, etc have all but replaced its type, the rude, condescending employees of this establishment seem unconcerned with even the slightest courtesy towards it's customers. I walked in late in the evening, there wasnt a single other customer in the place, and the two women working seemed annoyed to have to answer a couple video questions i had, and were short and curt with their responses. The 'know it all attitude' i encountered seems a bit dubious when considering that these people wouldnt be clerks in a place like this if they actually had any brains or talent. Dont waste your time - my questions were answered in 30 seconds once i checked the internet, and i was able to find a used copy of the old film i wanted on amazon for 4 dollars, which i will not have to return, of course... Pros: Alleged Video Selection Cons: Staff wont help you find it more
