went to one of the stylist there, spoke all about the color i wanted, lowlights, highlights, and a haircuit. The color was extremely wrong, it was so dark which I have never had in my entire 50 yrs plus life. The haircuit was totally horrible, I had pictures and kept the picture out while she was cutting it. OMG...it was so chopped up , she said it needed thinning, used a scissors and razor, well every time i woke up i had little cowlicks all over my head...she knew i was not happy, but she charged me anyways. The color is horrible, I had to go to another salon and pay much more to get it fixed. Not sure where that stylists got her license from in coloring. Won't be returning.. more

Long over due I got a real appt. at cloud 9 for a hair service and it was a big one. I got a "Keratin Complex" smoothing treatment. I know now how wonderful it feels to be a client at cloud 9. Leticia spent 2 hours on me and I must say I left feeling like quite the princess. more

I received an hour and a half massage by Jane. I left fealing very relaxed as well as unkinked. My job leaves me with a lot of tension in shoulders and neck and her massage was just what I needed...not too deep but yet effective and relaxing. Would definately recommend her. I have been going to cloud nine for years. I had gone because a friend suggested her stylist. At one point my friends hair was green tinged, but I failed to ask why. I brought pictures and had a long talk before I let Lacey touch my hair. I detailed my hair needs and coloring problems. She highlighed only the roots; this, of course, did not match the bottom. We spent a year fixing this slowly; it felt like strand by strand. Each visit was $130-$170. I finally went to another stylist. In the first visit she did everything Lacey said would take years. I stayed with this stylist even after she moved out of town, by flying out of DFW to get my hair done. This became so expansive I returned to Lacey. I waited three months before breaking down and going. I did the chat again, and the reminded her of our chat when she attenpted to only highlight the roots. She cut too much, then dried. Alas, my top did not match the middle or bottom again. I did this three more times; I know I am crazy, but the fear of the unknown kept me there. Each time she turned my hair yellow, once red and green. I am a natural blond going blonder. She insisted bleach was necessary; yet, my good stylist never used bleach. Here I am brown on bottom, zig zag in the middle, and canary yellow on top. I left a message for Lacey to get this fixed, and I left a number she did not have. She did not return the call. Later, she called that one number with a question about payment and claimed she had not heard the message. I'm done paying $165.00 for horrible hair. I'm too scared to let her near my head again. I now have to pay a color correctionist. The salon and Lacey are responsible for the cost of this. Don't go there. Pros: pretty building Cons: unprofessional and poorly trained stylist more

I've used 3 different stylists, the message therapist, the facial gal and the permenant tatoo procedures. Any time I was unhappy or had a question. The operator or the owner were very accomidating. Sometimes we don't always love our cut or color but here they take the time to get it right for the customer. I have been using this Salon for years!! I live in FlowerMound, it's nice to have a relaxing spa day and not have to drive home from a salon/spa in downtown Dallas. Due to the popularity & location of this salon I would recomend 'pre-booking' your day-of-beauty. Heather has done my hair for a little over 6 years. I have been receiving treatments at Cloud 9 since they opened their new location. They care so much about doing an awesome job. Girls who have done my hair and my friend's hair include Lori, Barb, Stacey, Shannon, Leticia, Joelle, Trish, Bev, Yvette, Nathan, Kim Cloud, Robin, Gina, Arvella - they are all top noch stylists. For nails - every one of those girls I have gone to and been happy - They are all sweethearts and the nail area is so Zen. For Face - Charlotte and Lindsay know their stuff and if you haven't had a facial - you have to try it! Shanna does laser and medical grade facial stuff - IT IS SO GREAT NOT TO HAVE BIKINI LINE ISSUES. There is a drop dead gorgeous girl named Tish that is where you have to go for perm. make up. She is fixing up what other perm. make up ladies screw up. Massage - the best in town. Those therapists have experience and know what they are doing. If you want it deep and dug out - go to Kathy, Theo, Linda or Gina. If you want to relax and have a more Zen experience - go to Jane, Kim, or Jill. Jill also does Reiki - very cool - a must try. Honestly one of the worst hair experiences of my life. I tried this salon after hearing co-workers rave about it. I called and specifically requested the most experienced curly hair stylist. My mind has blocked this stylist name. She used thinning shears on my hair like crazy. All stylists should know that's the worst thing to do for curly hair. I was offered a free visit to come back after sending a review via their website. No way! Pros: The building outside is nice Cons: The staff inside are incompetent more

I have just moved to the DFW area and was looking for a good salon. A friend recommended the Cloud 9 salon and I decided to give it a try. The hair stylist I met with was a friendly woman but she had no idea how to cut or color my hair. I brought her a picture of me with my hair styled the way I like it. She did not even come close!! She also put bleach on my hair to lighten it (I have dark hair) in foils and then put me under the dryer for 35 minutes without checking on me! I got up during this time because I thought it was odd that I was under the dryer for so long and found the stylist in the back office area playing on the computer. The result was a spotty dye job... many different colors all over my strands. And the haircut was so horrible that I honestly cried. I haven't cried in years...but the result of my hair from this salon was unbelievable. I immediately called my old stylist and colorist to get some tips on how to correct my color. I had to fly back to the east coast to have my old stylist try to correct the cut. He was absolutely horrified at what happened to my hair and did his best to correct it. I will just have to wait for some of it to grow out. I truly believe this is the salon's fault. They should monitor those who rent their chairs and continously train them to make sure they know what they are doing. I will never return to this salon. Stay Away!!! more
