Hello girls, Let me start by saying I will never do business with Roxanne's again. First we were pushed to order our bridesmaid dresses so they could be here around Thanksgiving, in time for the wedding at the end of December, which was not a problem. They only have one dress in one size to try on and I definietly wasn't that one size. I am a full figured girl so I didnt even bother trying, so there fore I was measured. Needless to say I ended up with a size 22.....not my size and my wedding dresses were only a size 14. I ordered my dress and paid for it and was told it would be here before thanksgiving. I waited until December 2 to pick it up, got to the shop and NO DRESS!!!!!!! Talked to the bride and informed her of the situation. The bride wasn't happy either. The lady at the desk called and checked on the dresses and they had just be shipeed out on Dec 1. Needless to say I received the dress and I tried it on in the store and guess what????? IT WAS HUGE AND FELL OFF OF ME!!!!. Not one person in the store ask me when I came out how it fit or even offered alterations, not that I would have them done there. So I have now paid $215 plue another $40 for a larger size that is extremely too big. I went to a couple of alterations places and the best price on my alterations is $100. Needless to say due to their incompitence in ordering in a timely manner and inabilities to accurately measure I have over paid for a dresss and have to spend much more to get it to fit me. more

Terrible customer service! 5/24/2011

Dear bridal shoppers, avoid this store at all costs! The owner Roxanne is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in all of my life. Being in the retail business myself made my experience even more horrifying. We ran into a problem with my dress and instead of taking care of the problem she tried to find every excuse in the world why it was my fault. I was very nice but totally shocked when the dressing room door was slammed in my face. The employees were nice enough but shaking in their boots because of this owner. Maybe this woman shouldn't be in this business if she hates it and her customers so much!!!! So my advise, go to Lows Bridal in Brinkley Ar. more

My experience was very similar to one of the other reviews (""Absolutely would NOT recommend""). When I first went into the store looking for a dress for my son's wedding the store clerks were very helpful and friendly. I did not have enough time before the wedding to order anything, and needed to look just at what they had in stock. I tried several dresses on and found one that was okay, but not great. The sales clerk told me emphatically several times that if I wanted it, I should buy it immediately because it could be snapped up, and I'd be out of luck. I told her that I wasn't sure about the dress and that I would keep looking. She told me I should buy it and if I found something better I could return it. I asked repeatedly while I was paying for it if I would be able to return it because I really wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the dress. The clerk reassured me several times that there would be no problem with my returning it. I bought it and took it home, but two weeks later found the perfect dress online. By the time the new dress was mailed to me and I had tried it on, three weeks had gone by. I went to Rozanne's to return the original dress and was told that they only accept returns within three days of purchase. I explained that that was the first I had heard of that policy, and that I had been told repeatedly that there would be no problem with my returning the dress. The owner got very angry and started claiming that I was taking advantage of her. I was shocked at her anger. She denied that anyone there would've told me any such thing. She asked the clerks who were there if any of them had sold it to me, and the clerk who had sold it to me ducked her head down and said, ""It wasn't me"". She was obviously frightened of her boss. I didn't want to make trouble for her, so I let it go and tried to reason with the owner. I said ""Look, I was told that this dress would sell very fast, won't you please take it back?"" The owner was very unpleasant and had me look on my receipt to where it said ""final sale"". I had never noticed those words on the receipt because while I was buying it the clerk had been talking to me and reassuring me that I could return it. I was shocked at how very differently they treated me this time compared to my first visit. She eventually kept the dress, saying that she would try to sell it, but if no one bought it (which she said was unlikely) I would be out of luck. This did not end well - the owner was so upset at me for contacting American Express to see if they could help me get my money back, that when I asked (weeks later ) if I could at least have store credit (at this point she had had the dress and my money for several weeks), she said she wanted no further business with me. I keep using the word ""shocked"" because I've never been in a situation like this with a store. I was very careful throughout all of my encounters with them not to say anything ugly to them - but just to reiterate that I had been told I could return the dress. The good news is that the dress I found online was beautiful, and my son's wedding was fantastic - one of the happiest days of my life! I'm out $300 (which is hard for my family financially) for a brand new dress which I've never worn, but I'm chalking the whole thing up to experience. I'm just very grateful that I will never need to deal with that store again. I'll hoping I can get something for it on eBay. more

I absolutely love this store. I was very frustrated with searching for a bridesmaid dress. They were very helpful and I love them. They spent several hours with me and not once got frustrated. I ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses from them. I highly recommend them!!!! Pros: Love the Staff more

Extremely Unhelpful! 5/3/2009

When I went in to Roxanne's to try on dresses, the clerk seemed more interested in talking to the mail lady than helping me. She pointed to where all the dresses were and I did not see her (or any associate for that matter) again while I was there. I was not planning on buying anything that day, but it would have been nice if she asked if I was finding everything ok. I found a dress there that I really like but refuse to buy it from them! Cons: Horrible Customer Service more

Absolutely would NOT recommend 2/4/2009

I would definitely NOT recommend this store to anyone. I was told numerous times prior to the purchase of the overpriced wedding dress that it would be a custom dress that was designed by Roxanne (the owner). The salesperson, Bonnie, wouldn't even let me take a picture of the dress because it would ""leak her design."" This was ENTIRELY a lie, and once I spoke to the owner about this, she refused to believe what I said saying it ""didn't make any sense"" and she was sorry ""I misunderstood what she told me"" and all the dresses come from China, not the shop in Bartlett (where Bonnie said they came from). There was no misunderstanding, I had several friends and my mother present when she told us those lies. Also, my dress is a month past the date they told me it would be here- and they said it wouldn't be ready for another 2 months. I would warn anyone considering buying a dress there against it. After all this, I have heard many more stories about how dresses came in VERY late or the zipper had ripped off right after they purchased the dress and they REFUSE to work with you. They seem very nice and helpful (I loved the place before I bought the dress), and now that they have my money- the customer service goes completely out the window. DO NOT BUY A DRESS FROM THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!! more

My experience @ Roxanne's was one that i'll never forget. Great customer service, friendly staff, hundreds of choices, special attention, great consultation, one stop shop!!!!!. Everything I needed was right there. My gown(gorgeous), shoes, bridesmaids and maid of honor dresses, flower dress, even the tiara and vail. The only thing that didn't turn out the way i planned was the time my dress would be ready. 2 months after the date I had chosen, so now my wedding will be in May. But that's o.k. I got my dress and the other dresses 10% off. Perfect. So that made me happy. That just gives me more time to plan bigger ideas. It will be the wedding of my dreams. more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! 4/17/2007

Would NEVER recommend Roxanne's to anyone who is thinking about going there for anything. They are very rude and have very poor customer service. I don't have one good thing to say about this place. more
