I LOVE this Salon! Christy and Taylor are the Best! So very nice and accomodating. My cut and color are always right on! Plus, I get compliments all the time from my Bunco girls!

Sarah Stevens at Icon Salon has been doing my hair for almost 6 years. She is a wonderful and skilled stylist! I am extremely particular about my hair, but I never worry that I will walk out of the salon unhappy with Sarah coloring and cutting my hair. She definitely has a way with making my highlights pop and keeping them fresh! Sarah always knows the latest trends and uses the most up to date techniques. She truly knows hair! I don't think I would trust taking my hair anywhere else! The salon itself is a nice space. The owners are so friendly and always say hello to me when I'm in. It is a great NW salon without the pretentious feel! more

Absolutely great color and cut! 11/5/2011

I have been going to the same hairstylist for 15 years, until this past Thursday when I had a nightmare of an experience. Thanks to other reviewers, I found Icon Salon & Spa and decided to give it a try. Taylor got me in the next day for a color correction (the EXACT look I wanted originally) and a beautiful cut (again, the EXACT look) and she had known me all of about 5 minutes. I agree with other reviewers, the sink washing stations are actually really comfortable. The location is great, who doesn't love NW Portland? With reserved, in-front-of-the-salon parking, it is easily accessible. The price was fair as well. I will be going back and recommending everyone I know! more

Great Salon, People and Location!!!! 2/2/2011

You know how hard it is to find someone you can trust that get's you and YOUR HAIR? Well look no further!!!! Go see Christy and Taylor at the beautiful Icon Salon. You will not be disappointed. I have been going to Christy for 7 years and she continues to give me the best color in town. She is not afraid to experIment and has kept my look fresh and different. They care about their clients and I would never go anywhere else. The Icon is the best!!! more

Best Salon in PDX 11/17/2010

This is such a warm, comfortable place to be. Great art on the wall, soft music, relaxing colors and big windows for natural light. The hair washing sinks are super comfortable. Deborah Grams has been cutting my hair for several years now and I love her expertise and sense of style. She's the best! Plus the location is fantastic - St Cupcake is just around the corner, World Coffee is half a block up Glisan and Sweet Basil Thai is across the street. I could spend a whole day right here! AND there is off-street parking right in front. What's not to love? more

I have been going to Angie to get my hair done for over 10 years. The most important thing is that you love your hair, which I do, but so do many others. I have been told numerous times how healthy, shiny and ""luxurious"" my hair is by women of all ages, and this is all due to Angie's abilities. more

You must see Erik Nelsen 5/18/2010

I usually dont review, however, after having the best cut and color ever I felt compelled to. Eric is the best hairdresser I have been to and I am picky! Thank you Eric! He listened, made suggestions and showed me a few tricks. I highly suggest a visit you will be pleased. Pros: Parking,friendly, listened Cons: Only works 3 days a week, hard to get in more

Wonderful Salon! 5/15/2010

I've been seeing Myrna for my crazy-curly hair since 2006, and have faithfully followed her to a couple salons. Myrna is just wonderful, so warm and sincere, if you have curly / wavy hair - you must see here!!! I'm so glad she's working out of Icon, as it is a nice facility with a friendly staff, and oh yeah... they have a parking lot! Pros: Wonderful stylists, nice salon and parking!!! more

Fashionista's Haven, Sheik & Fabulous!! 3/15/2010

I've been going to Christy for 6 years now, I would never go anywhere else to get my hair done, just like 7-up, never have, never will!! She helps me decide what the best look is for me, truly individual, one on one, she only wants what's the best for me so that I look the best. That is why I'm a fan! Hair color you have dreamed of! 2/8/2010

Anyone who gets their hair colored knows how bad it can go. In one such episode I went to Christy to salvage the color that a different colorist attempted and have never gone to anyone else since. EVERYTIME I get my hair colored someone from my work, personal life or just some random person on the street states ""Your color is great, where do you get it done?? more

COLOR QUEEN 1/20/2010

Cristy has been doing my hair for almost 9 yrs! Nobody has touched my hair in all that time. My last appt. I was happy with my hair as usual but when I got home and was fixing it myself I wanted it shorter. So I went back to the salon and as you all know Cristy is always booked so Taylor offered to cut it. I have to tell you all this is by far the best cut I have ever had! ICON is the Total Package. You get the very best for a very resaonable price. They are trendy, knowledgeable, able to tell you what would work best for your hair with style and color. Beautiful, new salon filled with positive energy and a staff that will make you feel at home and part of their family. I have been a client of Taylor for 2 yrs. and I have never been disappointed! I am always complimented on my hair color and style. Taylor, Christy, Linda and the staff are top notch. Give them a call...you will NOT be disappointed! The location is great, too. I live in Vancouver and enjoy going to their salon and if you need a snack afterwards, Saint Cupcake and World Coffee and Tea are on the same block as ICON Salon-Spa. ENJOY!!! Perfect Color Every Time 1/16/2010

Christy has been doing my hair for 6 years. I have followed her from location to location and the new Icon Salon is the best. Very clean, with lots of products to choose from, great location with free parking (in NW Portland it is pretty much unheard of), and friendly service. Christy is a color expert and she never fails to give you the perfect color. I have referred several friends and family members to the salon and have never been disappointed I did so...she is simply the best colorist. Fabulous hair color and service 1/15/2010

I've been a client of Christy for over 6 years. I followed her to two new locations and love the NW site. I have always been treated like a special customer by Christy. I appreciate the reminder phone calls. Christy and Taylor's business partnership has brought great synergy to the salon. I have had a number of people ask where I get my hair cut and colored and have referred several people to Christy. I trust Christy with my color and recently made a radical shift from blonde highlights to dark red. When my roots were lighter due to my hair being white now Christy came up with a solution that blended the roots in with the color much better. Best Salon in Portland! 1/5/2010

I have been going to Christy for about 3 years and I absolutely love her. I live in San Francisco now but haven't been able to find anyone that even comes close to Christy so every time I'm home I make sure to get an appointment with her. She does such an amazing job and people always ask me where I get my hair done. The new salon is absolutely beautiful inside and everyone is very sweet and down to earth.
