Having lived in Pdx for many years, I must say, when looking for a ""no foo foo or no frills"" Barber shoppe, I have definitely found what I was looking for. I'm a man! I don't want some fancy ""metro sexual"" salon just for a haircut. I want an ol' timey, simple Barber shoppe, where I can put my feet up, relax, have a friendly conversation, read the paper, or a magazine & get a damn fine haircut. This place has a lot of history and has been around for many, many years. Its right next to Huber's in a historic building. Love that, its charming. It tells a story. The owner Jerry is a great guy, he's been there for over 35 years; there is also a lovely young lady there (Shane), who gives a great cut. She's friendly, and has a sense of humor. Fellas, this is exactly what a real man needs. Win!
PS~ Appointments are NOT required. They do take walk-ins.
