Raw fish! I told my waitress the fish was raw and she said, ""I'm sorry its not warm. Would you like me to heat it up for you?""\r \r She totally missed it. She didn't offer a new piece. And how do you make a fish fry good by heating it in a microwave? I lost my taste for it and kindly said no thankyou.\r \r Nothing off the bill, just two cookies with another apology that the fish was cold. Never an offer to substitute it with something else. more

great food, great beer, great service 3/12/2009

The food in general is amazing, but what really caught my attention is all the vegetarian choices there. During my visit at the PizzaPlant, I was not displeased at any moment. I was seated in less than 5 min even though when I walked in it looked like it would take half an hour because it was quite busy. It was a saturday night and their was a live band playing. Their is actually one every saturday. When I sat at my table my waitress came immediately. I was going to get the black angus burger, but then I noticed the turkey burger and decided to get that instead because it looked healthier. For a drink I ordered their house beer, Inferno Pod Ale. It was hoppy with a malty balance and it was was spectacular. They have 12 craft beers to choose from, plus cask conditioned handpull beer (did not try, but told it's like what's served in England) When my turkey burger came it was delicious. The burger was tender and mouth watering. It had fresh tomato, lettuce and I added jalapeno peppers which made the burger have the perfect amount of spiciness to it. All in all, my experience at the PizzaPlant Italian Pub was great and I definitely recommend going there. Pros: excellent service and many vegetarian options Cons: should have more than 2 restaurants more

Good food--not such a great place to eat when it's busy 2/28/2009

This is a good place for a filling meal--my child loves the pod kid's meal. We recently went there on a Friday night for dinner and had to wait more than 30 minutes to sit at a high table near the bar. Boy, was it noisy and chaotic!\r \r My fiance's glass (filled with Pepsi) had a glob of pizza dough on it, which the server didn't notice. Once we pointed it out to her, she graciously gave us two large chocolate chip cookies for free. \r \r On another occasion, I went to Pizza Plant for lunch and loved their large, single-serving, slices of pizza. \r \r \r \r Pros: really good food and service Cons: when it's busy, it's chaotic, noisy, and there is a fairly long wait time more

Good food, slow service, extra charges on everything 6/27/2008

My first visit to Pizza Plant was at 12:30pm and with a group of 3 it took at least 20 minutes to get seated, the food took a decent amount of time but the Pod was very good. Only problem is they charge ""2 toppings"" for a single topping of basically any meat (other than pepperoni and bacon) so creating your own can get expensive quickly.\r \r Overall it was a good experience, so I went again a month later, this time at 1pm to avoid the rush. I avoided the rush for sure - but also avoided any quality customer service! We were seated within 2 minutes, but did not get our Pods for about 45 minutes, which surprised me considering there were only about 8-10 customers in the restaurant. This second time my Pod was lacking the fillings, but the Caesar Salad was great. This time, for a reason I do not know, the price was $.59 more expensive than what the menu said. The money isn't the issue, it is that there are charges for everything and they don't tell you about it.\r \r Needless to say I enjoyed my visits but don't plan on suggesting Pizza Plant in the future, although I will go if other people want to. Pros: Good Pods, good salads, good food in general Cons: slow service, extra charges more

not the restaurant for a group of 5+ 8/20/2007

While my family and i have been going to Pizza Plant for years, we decided to take some of our friends. We were a group of 8, and while the staff was pleasant, the amount of work it took to seat us was exhausting. We ended up having to split up into 2 booths. I highly recommend the restaurant, just not with large parties, it is way too small. Pros: food, service Cons: parking, small size more

Nice little pub - great FOOD 3/4/2007

I've been going with my family to the Plant for over 15 years now, and it is still one of my favorite restaurants. They serve a nice bowl/cup of chili, and nothing beats a pod or stuffed pizza. I've probably visited there over 100 times, and have been delighted with the food and service at least 95% of the time. Oh - it's also known for it's broad range of micro-beers, although I am not a drinker. And yet the bar is always packed, as well as the tables for food. Pros: Broad range of food options - pizza, salads, sandwiches, dinners, etc. Cons: Small restaurant - sometimes you have to wait for service / seating. more

Pizza plant is a marvalous place, their pods are amazing wheather you are eating one of their signature pods or you are making your own you better bleive that i is going to be delicious. Salads are huge and amazing, and can come in a nice bread bowl which is always a wonderful treat. Everything is made fresh there, the wait staff is incredible and the beer is great. Great Pods, Pizza 5/31/2004

This is a phenomenal pizza place which is nice enough to take people to. Get a pod, which is somewhat like a calzone. The dep dish pizza is as good as anything around. This restaurant is always busy. You will frequently encounter long waits for tables. The line is out the door on weekends. more

get a pod! 6/20/2003

We have been here a few times, and all have been great experiences! I highly recommend the ""Pod"" or the stuffed pizza. Nice micro-brews & local wines. Pros: food, location more
