Speaking for my 80-year old mother: After the WORST possible rug installation (whole house), it took several calls and weeks before FWS finally came back to fix their mistakes. To give you an idea how bad the installation was, the guy who came to fix it stretched the carpet and trimmed off several 30-gallon plastic bags FULL of rug scraps cut off from the stretching! Within a short time, the rug was wrinkled again in several places, making it an accident waiting to happen for an elderly lady--or anyone for that matter! Over the past year I have called and emailed FWS numerous times to try to get them to fix the carpeting--but they would not do one thing to fix it! PS the ""new owners"", John and John, are the ones who sold my mother the carpet and installation package in the first place--even if it was before they bought FWS in May 2010.
This all said about FWS, we turned to KENNY CARPET on Sheridan Dr. and Gene, the most honest, wonderful, and helpful man helped us with the rug problem since FWS would not. It only cost $60 and the wrinkles are gone! I would highly recommend speaking to Gene at KENNY CARPET with any of your carpet needs!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed!
Furthermore, I am making it my mission that whenever the subject of carpeting and installation comes up, to tell of her experience in detail, and save them from suffering the way my elderly mother has suffered the anguish over this carpeting!
Poor FWS for being so dumb when it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction. You should have done the math!! It only cost $60 to fix my mom's carpet. That measly $60 could have been the BEST kind of advertising for them--word of mouth!! Instead, they chose the WORST kind of advertising--horrible reviews. We have a HUGE family and extended family, not to mention, friends, colleagues and people we all have yet to meet to tell of our mother's horrible experience with FWS. You can be sure that NONE of us will be buying anything from FWS....not now....not ever!
