The service was very bad, rude and surly employees and the food tasted liked it was a day old. Cons: Bad service more

ZAGAT my butt.... Not worth the 10mi trip from the TAC (Taconic State Parkway). Insects in the cocktails, missing alcohol from their ""premier drinks"", dried-out over-cooked fried food (how can you mess up Chicken Fingers?), overcooked Pork Loin, missing Au Jus for Prime Rib ... then the proverbial icing on the cake ... they FORCE CHARGE you 20% tip (even after leaving cash on the table), and when you call them on it, they tell you its not their problem and to call your bank. Can only hope the other places on the Diners, Dives & Drive-ins show are better. Coincidentally, there are 2 pictures of NJ Diners, the Bendix Diner (in Hasbrouck Heights on Rte 17) and the Tick-Tock Diner (in Clifton on Rte 3 West) .... both are phenomenally better. The meals are so ample that you can split them. Pros: Its the best in Dutchess County and tops in America Cons: Nothing more

This is a diner on steroids. Pretty much everything on the menu is really well done, typical stuff as well as a few interesting twists. The cherry coke is the REAL deal, cola and cherry syrup, garnished with a handful of maraschino cherries in a glass large enough to fill a fishbowl with. I'm not pretending this is haute cuisine, but sometimes you just want a massive burger cooked perfectly. The fresh fruit salad is usually quite good, and the fries are perfectly cooked.
