I personally don't trust them at all. I know several people who were overcharged. When they refused to pay, the manager would lock the car in the work bay area and basically threaten customers with: ""Pay Up or We Hold Your Car Until You Do"". Is that even legal? Most people who give in really need their car and can't wait to fight Midas or they are intimidated into paying even when they are being overcharged. Others have called the police. Is this any way to do business? What's wrong with this place that they resort to these types of tactics? This Midas location has a reputation for doing this. So use caution. I don't know if this is how other Midas shops work, but this place is horrible. Stay away from the Riverhead Midas.
