We were called to pick up the 'finished' car even though the work was not finished. When I went to pick up the car, I pointed out that a damaged mud guard wasn't replaced. Anthony was not sure whether the part was part of the job and would be covered by the insurance. We took photos, and ultimately agreed to take the car and return after Anthony talked with the insurance company. This took about a half hour, which made us late to an event. After we left, we discovered the new mud guard was in a box in the car and just had not been installed. We also found a $65 parking ticket in the car; apparently ACE had received the ticket after parking the car on the street while the car was in their possession. We had to make several calls and 2 trips to the shop before ACE could install the new part. Anthony deducted the cost of the parking ticket, but we had to take care of paying the ticket, which cost us additional time. The body work was excellent and had we not had the problems of having to return multiple times to get the mud guard put on and deal with the parking ticket, we would have awarded ACE 5 stars.
